Rec Sailing - Keelboats
Another great option in our Rec Track for sailors looking to enjoy some time on the water with friends!
In the Rec Sailing - Keelboats Class, sailors will be on our J24s with up to 6 other sailors. Do you know a group of friends or family that want to learn together? This is the right class for them! Sailors will learn how rig, drive, and trim on a larger keelboat in a class that can be tailored to the group. Sailors must have been through either Pram Advanced and/or 420 Beginner in order to sign up for this class. This class will take place in the afternoons from 2:00pm-5:00pm and is recommended for sailors aged 10 to 16 years old.

What To Wear
Sailors should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes that can get wet! They should also wear clothes that are still comfortable when wet, a hat and sunglasses.
What To Bring
Remember, it can be cooler by the lake. Bring along a towel, sweatshirt or raincoat and sunscreen. We also recommend bringing along a snack and a water bottle. If you have your own lifejacket, bring it with you or wear one of ours.
